James Lee Norman, 74 of Houston, passed away May 3, 1987.

Member First Baptist Church of South Houston, South Houston.  Masonic Lodge #1295 A.F. & A.M., Order of Eastern Star Chapter #915, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rites, Arabia Shrine Temple.

Survived by: Wife, Eulaha Norman; Goddaughters, Judy Wright and Janet Faulkner; sister, Pannie Busch.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1987, Niday Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Carr officiating.  Interment South Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers, F.L. Carroll, Jim Allen, Joe McCarter, Ralph Clark, Bill Pettit, James Hardy.  Honorary pallbearers, D.X. Radio members (TDXS).  Niday Funeral Home, 4136 Broadway, 644-3831.


Lee was an accomplished DXer.  He readily shared his knowledge of DX "happenings" and DX bulletins on all of our weekly 2 meter nets back in the 1980's.  His favorite mode was probably RTTY.  We all miss his sharing nature, experience, and wisdom.
